A Very Late Birthday Post

 

very long overdue

the first day of summer

and the first day of me tapping back in with myself

writing to remember who I am,

where I am,

 and what's most important.

I have goals that I want to accomplish in this life

and the only person standing in the way of that is me.

that's a hard pill to swallow,

but a necessary one.

I'm ready to rise to the occasion

to reintroduce myself to the world

in the light that I hold within

not just a light that I painted myself in

to a new chapter
