My first trip to Vegas was everything I expected it to be and more. All of the lights had me feeling like I was in adult disneyland and I can not wait to make my way back! Aside from losing my phone (and all of my pictures) the trip was definitely a success.

Anticipating:
The holiday season, vegas trip w/ Hannah (3 days and counting!), visiting the west coast, ice skating, hot cocoa, and christmas light overload.
Loving:
ox blood, deep plum and winter white. accessorizing my morrocan themed bedroom, kenderick lamar "Good Kid, m.A.A.d. city,"
Wanting:
a new professional camera, to figure out a way to successfully go back and forth between blue-black and highlighted hair without having to suffer through the awkward green in between phase, fall weather to hold on a few more weeks (!), a million dollars.
Needing:
to get off my laptop and pack, to get off my laptop and pack. oh, and this dual vine ring by lovemuse.
Obsessing over:
chanel signature circle frames, the seductive deep wine canopy I ordered that should be coming in the mail any day now, Beyonce joining instagram (BaddieBey!), mary katrantzou's graphic prints.

Came across this 30 thing's every girl should try before 30 list via Femmes with Benefits. I love it, and I must say for a young twenty-something I'm not doing too bad!

my cousin and I
used the holiday to experiment with a 'rockabilly' pin up look
after doing some research on the hair and make-up I decided to attempt the pin up bang
so easy - it only took one try.
my pin up hair:
created a diy hair 'rat' out of a mesh hair bun that I found at h&m
( but I'm sure you can find one at any regular beauty supply store )
cut it in half and roll your hair over and up, as if it's a hair roller, until it looks like a "bang"
secure in place with bobbie pins and smooth
the curls were achieved with a curling wand and flexi's over night
( I find this keeps the curls from falling so quickly and makes them more defined )
the scarf was a last minute thought
I loved the outcome.
what do you think?

Came across these limited edition Andy Warhol Campbell’s soup cans at Target. I love how they bring pop art to life. I thought it was genius.
( SIDENOTE: I'm usually not one to indulge in a new release out of fear of being swayed by all of the hypebeasts out there, BUT Kenderick Lamar's new album lives up to all the hype and more. )
