I love scouring for unique accents that have a well traveled feel. I found these awesome handcrafted bowls at my favorite home décor store for a steal at $10 each! The bold colors and African- inspired pattern made them hard to pass up. The pictures don't do them justice. Score!

Woke Up to 8+ Inches of Snow...

Woke up to 8+ inches of snow, and it's still coming down. Ugh. Needless to say, I'm craving Spring/ Summer more than ever. I was going through pics from warmer days last year and decided to share a few. I was a little camera shy well into the fall due to four long months of unfortunate brace face; but it was all for the greater good - a perfect smile.  I'm tempted to start unpacking spring clothes and putting together outfits.. my little way of telling the universe I'm ready!

( SIDE NOTE: I'm hoping to get back to this length by my birthday. Deep conditioning twice a week + fewer trims. )

I've been on a salad kick lately. I can't get enough. It feels good to eat healthy. 

I Hate You So Much Right Now

Halloween this year consisted of big hair, hot pink hair shadow/spray, a phony septum piercing and a bustier; and it was all cooked up in less than 24 hours. Thanks to my boo Tiff for the idea. I was channeling a unapolagetic vibrant haired Kelis circa 1999, the "Caught Out There" era. Needless, to say, I had fun with it. Flashback to the video below:

I'm obsessed with this venue. Imagine walking into this rainbow colored "house" and finding art everywhere you look from the ceiling to the floor. Now add a DJ, vendors and a stage between two giant lion heads - fun! I will be back, no question.

The Boho Garden Portrait Series x Mercedes Lagunas

Angela Hendricks collaborates (reluctantly) with her toddler daughter to create these brilliant works of art. Hendricks, a portrait artist would sketch the head and her daughter and her imagination would add the body. How could you not love that?
