The latest project that I have taken on in my quest to turn my apartment into my own private oasis is 'Bringing the Spa Home'. The goal is to make it so that I don't have to leave the comfort of my own home when I want to unwind. The addition of a hanging eucalyptus "bouquet" (I found mine at Trader Joe's) in my shower has taken me one step closer to achieving the in home spa feeling that I so crave. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, the scent that is released during a steamy shower is both calming and refreshing, and can help to relieve congestion.

Refinery 29 x 29Rooms: 9/6/18
favorite exhibit of 2018 so far.
New York has stolen a (large) piece of my heart.
Sure, I complain about the piss lined streets (lol) and that one time I had a less than stellar Airbnb experience - if you know, you know - but each time I visit, it becomes a little harder to leave. I'm in love with the people, the energy, the little hole-in-the-wall neighborhood gems, the memories I've created there, the art, the fashion... but most of all, the way that I feel when I'm there. It's almost like a feeling that anything is possible. It leaves me wanting more.
