 -William Wordsworth

...And that is exactly what I plan to do. It's hard to recognize all that is going right with your life when the focus is put on all that is going wrong. This time of year reminds us to be thankful for all of our blessings in life that are otherwise overlooked. Below is a list of some of the things that I am thankful for this year. What are you thankful for?

  • My supportive and loving family, doting parents and my shadow, Monroe
  • The many conversations that I've had with God this year that have undoubtedly gotten me through
  • New found friendships and 'lost ones'
  • Graduating from a 4-year university - on time, despite changing my major
  • Having a stable job - in this economy is a blessing in itself
  • My health, my wealth and my strength
  • My faith
  • The amazing travels that I have embarked on in 2010, which will hopefully continue on into 2011
  • My sorority sisters who truly are some of my best friends :)
  • All of the positive people in my life who encourage me to be a better person
  • The magnificence of chocolate
  • All of the memories that we continue to share
  • Having my eyes opened to so many different types of music, artists
  • The laughter we share
  • Trust - which used to be a foreign concept to me but has become a word I can use again... and having that same trust given to me in return.

- to be continued
